Goa: The start of my 2nd Phase… https://xplorersparadise.com/goa-the-start-of-my-2nd-phase/ https://xplorersparadise.com/goa-the-start-of-my-2nd-phase/#respond Wed, 28 Mar 2018 11:03:27 +0000 http://www.xplorersparadise.com/beta/?p=500 So starting the journey of the 2nd phase of my life. We chose Goa as the destination to start our journey with!

We stayed there for 07 days, though I have been to goa before this as well but then it is different all the times with different people. We chose to stay at different places 02 Nights each.

Being in the travel industry, I had few hotels in my mind where I wanted to stay. So we had to hop the hotels, which was altogether fun. We stayed in North Goa as well as South Goa.

North Goa is more of Fun, Nightlife, Adventure sports and lot of tourist kind of a destination. Lots of fun and frolic in here. We stayed 1st night in Resort Rio, I wanted to stay there more but then the hotel was already sold out. So just for the 1 day I had so much fun there. The services are too good. They have 1 pure Veg restaurant and the rooms and pool and the ambience are just too good. We had our time over there.

As the resort was booked for the other days, we had book Paradise Village resort. This is a bit different as compared to our 1st accommodation. They have standalone cottages and beach is just 30 seconds walk from the cottage. Nice and clean beaches. A bit of a private touch. We had booked our Water sports. So 1 day we were out on the beach and in the water. Being a hydrophobic, I was not much keen in doing that but then as I mentioned with different people the same place turns out to be much different. I enjoyed the water sports. We did lot of club hopping and restaurant hopping as well. Trying places like Brittos, LPK club, Tittos and what not. Thus our journey in the North Goa ended.

For all the days during our stay we had hired a two wheeler, which turns out to be real pocket friendly as the fuel charges were quite low then and the per day rent was also bearable. So not drilling a huge hole in your pocket while hopping the clubs and the bars we have our own transport. We left the bike in North Goa and took but to come to South Goa. We reached South goa by the Check in time. We were staying in Zuri White sands.

Yes this is supposed to be my dream stay. I have handle too many NRI’s and they always selected this hotel for accommodation and they were always keen on staying in South Goa and I wondered why! And to know the reason I had planned and included South Goa in my trip. I had also done a deal with myself, I will stay in South Goa only if I get to stay in Zuri White Sands and I got that. I was more than excited to go to South Goa during the whole trip. We had booked 3 nights stay there. So about Zuri. It’s altogether a different class. The services, now I know why everybody would just prefer staying at Zuri and nowhere else. The crowd, the services, and the quality. It’s worth what you have paid for! It has its own private beach. So it was more private and feeling was totally different. It was too clean and the places seemed like it was to yourself. Taking a leisure walk or just lazing around was the perfect way to unwind. And also South Goa is totally a different feel than North Goa. It’s just the opposite of what North Goa is! It’s more calm and relaxing. It’s totally Leisure.

We have had our time of life and trust me Goa is really different with different people. This is about the week in Feb 2015.

Still fresh in my memory and my 1st destination with my partner.
